Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders using evidence-based practices.
- Offer individual and group therapy sessions to patients, promoting emotional growth and well-being.
- Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient visits and progress, facilitating effective communication among healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and continuity.
- Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma.
- Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialization in Psychiatric Nursing.
- Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.
- Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Active DEA licensure in the state of prescribing.
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
