Job Title: GCSC Community Programming Intern

Join the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission team as a Community Programming Intern and contribute to the planning and execution of various events and programs. As a key member of our team, you will assist with event operations, community outreach, and youth education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning and execution of community events and programs
  • Assist with event operations, including setup, registration, and logistics
  • Conduct research and outreach to community organizations and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement marketing materials and promotional campaigns
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve event and program goals
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College/University (undergraduate or post-graduate program) or have recently completed (6-months)
  • Prior experience with event operations and management, as well as working with youth
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Passion for community relations and event management
