Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our research team at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work on observational and clinical research protocols in a dynamic research setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing protocols for study subjects enrolled in therapeutic and non-therapeutic clinical and observational research studies. This includes assisting with protocol development, subject recruitment, and regulatory documentation, as well as assessing the health status of assigned study participants and implementing subject intake and scheduling.

You will work closely with the research team, including principal investigators, project directors, and study coordinators, to implement and evaluate protocols based on subject assessment and provide direct subject care to ensure implementation of specific research protocols. Additionally, you will conduct research and clinical activities, monitor participants to ensure that research protocol is being followed, and keep accurate records documenting activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with protocol development, subject recruitment, and regulatory documentation.
  • Assess the health status of assigned study participants and implement subject intake and scheduling.
  • Work with the research team to implement and evaluate protocols based on subject assessment.
  • Provide direct subject care to ensure implementation of specific research protocols.
  • Conduct research and clinical activities.
  • Monitor participants to ensure that research protocol is being followed.
Qualifications
  • License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in NYS is required.
  • Master's Degree and 2-5 years patient management experience in clinical and/or research with an administrative leadership component is preferred.
  • AANC or AANP Board Certification is also desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with professional and ancillary personnel.
Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $56.21 per hour, commensurate with experience.
