Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. as a Registered Respiratory Therapist on the night shift.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide critical respiratory care to patients with various respiratory disorders, including COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome. This role requires collaboration with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
  • Administer oxygen and various respiratory therapies, such as bronchodilators, nebulizers, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analyses.
  • Provide mechanical ventilation and monitor patients on ventilators.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited school.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current Tennessee license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification.
