The hourly range for this position is $28.15 - $43.42, depending on experience.

Job Description:

\

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at St. Mary's Regional Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing x-ray images of specified body areas, positioning and instructing patients, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal care.

  • Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clear and undistorted films.\
  • Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.\
  • Maintain X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis.\
  • Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate that departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives.\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent, successful completion of an approved radiological training program, and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association is also required.
