Job Title: Per Diem Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Per Diem Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Psychiatric Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with psychiatric conditions. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improving patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Current RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
  • ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
  • One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.
