Pediatric Intensivist Medical Director Opportunity

Attractive Compensation Package for a Full-Time Pediatric Intensivist Medical Director in a Regional Hospital Setting
Envision Physician Services - RAD/W&C is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to serve as the Site Medical Director for our inpatient pediatric and pediatric critical care practice at a regional hospital in the western United States. This hospital is a 270-bed facility distinguished by its high-quality care, specialty services, and Level 1 Trauma Center. The pediatric department includes a dedicated 14-bed unit filled with private rooms and the only pediatric intensive care unit in the region.
This is a leadership opportunity for a pediatric intensivist to oversee the pediatric intensive care unit and work closely with hospital staff, leadership, and community pediatricians to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of leadership experience and a focus on unit quality improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the pediatric intensive care unit and ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with hospital staff, leadership, and community pediatricians to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Lead and manage a team of pediatric intensivists and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in program development and volume growth with neighboring community hospitals and providers
