Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Lake Bridgeport, TX. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for loading haul trucks in the pit area, conducting daily safety inspections, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load haul trucks in the pit area safely and efficiently
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and complete required paperwork
  • Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication on equipment
  • Monitor equipment for unusual vibrations, noise, or wear patterns and report to supervisor
  • Assist in moving pit pumps and perform other job duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of four years of experience operating similar equipment
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to operate equipment for long periods of time
  • Frequently lift 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Have some mechanical knowledge
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
