RN Medical Surgical Position

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable registered nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient-centered care model.
Responsibilities- Make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety and ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Guide and be a resource for new employees, providing education and support throughout their stay.
- Complete documentation on the patient's record in a timely and accurate manner.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing (or multi-state compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia). An Associate's Degree in nursing is required, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. You must also hold current certification as an American Heart Association ACLS Healthcare Provider.
