Overview:

Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in providing high-quality dental treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clinicians in preparing patients for oral examinations and supporting various dental procedures.
  • Ensure a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment by addressing patients' individual needs and maintaining a high level of PPE.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, clean operatories, and manage dental supplies to support efficient patient care.
  • Conduct radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by clinicians, and prepare tray setups for procedures.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with front and back office teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support patient care by presenting treatment records and health histories, and providing post-treatment instructions.
  • Participate in daily huddles, monthly team meetings, and uphold the company's culture and values.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, with state-mandated certification or licensure.
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state.
  • Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
