QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • Experience in a clinical setting with strong interpersonal skills
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in emergency or acute care
Education:
  • Completion of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program is required
  • Completion of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is preferred
Licenses:
  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in Kansas or a compact license
Certifications:
  • Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 90 days of employment
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications must be completed within 6 months of employment
