Culinary Expert

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a unique opportunity to bring your passion for food and creativity to life while working with fresh ingredients and state-of-the-art equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a cook or in a related role, with a validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations. The ability to acquire food safety certification is also required. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate basic math and counting skills, as well as excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This position may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
