We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital – Springfield. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our mission to serve our community.
Responsibilities- Assess and reassess patients to identify their individual needs and develop a plan of care that addresses their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that all needs are met.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
- IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital – Springfield is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital that provides comprehensive care to patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. Our hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for inpatient rehabilitation.
