Bilfinger Inc., a leading provider of industrial services, is seeking a skilled Tube Welder to join our team at our Pensacola facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards to supervisors.
- Perform TIG, stick, and orbital welding on stainless and carbon pipes, varying in size and material.
- Inspect and test welded surfaces to guarantee high-quality finishes that meet site standards.
- Determine the most suitable welding equipment or method based on project requirements and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and develop fabrication and installation plans.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Pass a tube welding proficiency test.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and safety, with a focus on production efficiency.
- Possess basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
- Be proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Pass required weld tests.
- NCCER certification is a desirable asset.
- Ability to work at heights exceeding six feet above the ground.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment.
