The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, and communicating with insurance carriers and healthcare providers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations from insurance carriers.
• Communicate with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to resolve authorization issues.
• Manage and track pending and denied cases.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to obtain necessary data for prior authorization.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical setting, preferably in precertification or insurance verification.
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office and PC computers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet productivity standards.
