Gastroenterology Specialist

Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Guthrie Binghamton Riverside Drive - Digestive Care team.
As a Guthrie Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you play a vital role in caring for our patients while acting as a patient advocate and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers, as well as Guthrie Specialists throughout the strong referral network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial and follow-up patient assessments.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Prescribing medications and treatments.
- Providing patient education and counseling.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary starting at $115,000 and dependent on experience.

- Allowance for licensure fees, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate, and renewals.

- Standard hours - Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Current license in New York State.
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experienced or newly graduated candidates are equally welcome to apply.
