Job Summary

USAG Alaska is seeking a highly skilled Outdoor Recreation Assistant to lead exciting excursions in Alaska. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for instructing groups and individuals in various outdoor recreation programs, including rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct and manage groups in outdoor recreation programs, prioritizing participant safety.
  • Teach children and adults in a variety of outdoor activities.
  • Report any issues to the Outdoor Recreation Manager or Recreation Specialist to maintain high-quality service to guests.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in a wide range of outdoor recreation pursuits.
  • Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program, will be considered highly qualified.
