Onboarding Operations Manager

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing the onboarding process of new hires, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and are equipped to perform their job duties effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of production operations, and the ability to motivate and coach team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires have a smooth transition into their roles
  • Supervise and train onboarding coordinators, orientation trainers, and other team members to ensure they are providing high-quality support to new hires
  • Maintain accurate records of new hire training and progress, and provide regular updates to management and HR
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, superintendents, and shift managers to ensure that all new hires are properly trained and integrated into the production team
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions with team members to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance and support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., human resources, business, or education)
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Able to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
