Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Ocean Shores Medical Clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for managing and evaluating the performance of our nursing staff, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and evaluate the performance of approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants, including MA supervisors
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Medical Director and Health Center Administrator
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Focus on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards
  • Provide ongoing training and education to nursing staff
  • Lead hiring efforts for nursing staff and participate in the hiring of other support staff
  • Oversee and maintain a patient care system that prioritizes nurse-only visits
Requirements
  • Active RN or BSN license in the state of Washington
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
  • Excellent communication, listening, and team building skills

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
