As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of a specific unit(s) or service through the effective use of knowledge and skills to promote the creation of a center of excellence for staff recruitment and retention and clinical and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical and operational leadership to a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Manage financial resources, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and business outcomes.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Masters degree in Nursing.
- Experience in perioperative services or surgical nursing.
