Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist II to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures to aid in diagnostic interpretation by radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
  • Maintain and update patient records, including medical history and ultrasound results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Current RDMS license with subspecialty registries in Abdomen and OB/GYN, and current RVT license.
  • RVT Registered Vascular Technologist - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (required).
  • OB/Gyn Obstetrics and Gynecology - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • BR Breast Certification - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (preferred).
Work Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 00:00 - 07:30, No Waive (United States of America).

Pay Range:

$87.40 Hourly. Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
