Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, confirm orders, and prepare individuals for ultrasound examinations.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging techniques to provide timely, safe, and high-quality diagnostic results.
  • Exhibit the capability to conduct examinations across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, adhering to established protocols and ACR guidelines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating all clinical equipment within the ultrasound department.
  • Complete and annotate medically acceptable exams, ensuring maximum diagnostic information is obtained efficiently.
  • Adhere to protocols regarding medical necessity, coding, and billing, while documenting any occurrences for quality assurance.
  • Maintain safety standards in body substance protection, equipment sanitation, and sterile technique.
  • Accurately fulfill all documentation requirements, including timestamps and image storage.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess ARRT or ARDMS Registry, with at least one relevant registry completed beyond physics.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers is required.
  • Previous experience in ultrasound is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ongoing need for visual acuity to read information and assess patient needs, along with frequent communication with patients and healthcare providers. The role requires manual dexterity for operating delicate equipment and may involve lifting and moving patients or equipment of varying weights. You will also be expected to navigate busy environments while assisting with patient transport.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a commitment to a 36-hour work week, including shifts on weekends.
