Electrical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Insight Global. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating electrical construction and supporting activities, including planning, procurement, construction, start-up, and prime contract close-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project roadmaps to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage and coordinate electrical contractors on site
  • Prepare and evaluate bid packages to ensure seamless delivery of projects
  • Support the selection of partners and suppliers
  • Promote a safe and quality-driven culture
  • Deliver projects ahead of schedule and within budget
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a PM role in heavy industrial, oil & gas, or complex chemical plants
  • General contractor PM experience with a background in large commercial projects
  • Experience with commercial aspects of scopes, including RFPs, scopes of work, bid evaluation, and contract management
  • Ability to fully manage a project and track costs
