Speech Language Pathologist Job Description
Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to work in a skilled nursing facility. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will help patients with swallowing, speaking, understanding, and other speech-related tasks they need to function.
You will review medical histories, develop and implement speech therapy treatment plans, recommend equipment, monitor patient progress, and more. This is a critical role in helping patients who are ill, injured, or disabled regain independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility
- Degree in relevant field
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
