Job Summary

Medline Industries is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections and tests to ensure compliance with established quality procedures and company policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Products: Perform in-process inspections and testing of finished goods and/or raw materials manufactured by or for Medline Industries. Read and understand company procedures for specific materials inspections and complete inspection documentation per applicable inspection procedures.
  • Operate Test Equipment: Operate test equipment and perform simple measurement activities per applicable standard operating procedures. Equipment may include tools such as a ruler, caliper, micrometer, scales, etc. Read and understand company procedures for specific test equipment operation.
  • Identify Defects: Identify defects and initiate non-conforming material reports during in-process and final inspections per pre-established company policy or Accepted Quality Limits (AQL).
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with business partners such as quality assurance, warehouse, maintenance, and/or manufacturing groups. Communication includes but is not limited to inspection defects, issuance of non-conforming reports, inspection prioritization or any concerns associated to the product quality.
  • Verify and Approve: Verify and/or approve line start-up and equipment applicable requirements per company-established procedures when applicable.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year of quality control experience in a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Basic math skills including fractional to decimal conversions. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of quality control experience in medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting.
