Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is a key member of the Bellisio Foods and Overhill Farms team, responsible for overseeing the direction and leadership of assigned production areas and employees. This role requires a strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and a commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to production area employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to meet production goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Plant Superintendent to ensure the quality and safety of our products, adhering to GMP's, HACCP procedures, and other company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of materials used in production areas and finished goods, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Employee Development: Identify and develop employees' skills and knowledge, providing training and coaching to enhance their performance.
  • Performance Management: Monitor employee attendance and discipline, making recommendations for improvement and addressing performance issues.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, organized time management, and ability to function well under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs.
