Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team at Holcim (US) for a 10-week paid internship in Summer 2025. As a Procurement Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, working closely with our experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

• Assist in researching and identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their offerings, and conducting initial outreach for procurement needs.
• Support the creation, tracking, and management of purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.
• Help maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, including communication, negotiation, and issue resolution.
• Conduct cost analyses to compare supplier pricing, evaluate value, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with Holcim standards.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or similar field.
• Strong academic performance.
• Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• High energy and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges.
• A team player who can collaborate across different levels of the organization.
