**Job Summary**
As a key member of the Department of Athletics, the Athletic Trainer II will provide comprehensive athletic training services to support 13 varsity intercollegiate athletic teams. Responsibilities include coverage in the athletic training room, team practices, and competitions, as well as on-court/field set-up of athletic training equipment.
Additionally, the incumbent will develop and implement injury treatment plans and rehabilitation plans according to best practice and industry standards, coordinate with senior athletic trainers to ensure adequate coverage, and perform administrative tasks.
**Required Education and Experience**
Educational background in athletic training, physical education, kinesiology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of experience as a certified Athletic Trainer in a high school or college environment, with current Board of Certification (BOC) certification.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Applicants with bilingual skills, three or more years of college-level athletic training experience, or direct experience providing independent sport coverage for NCAA collegiate soccer or basketball may be given preference.
**Benefits and Compensation**
This position qualifies for tuition fee waiver (if eligible) and a comprehensive benefits package, including sick leave, vacation, and health insurance. The estimated salary range is $52,392 - $101,532 per year, based on the title, job description, and location.
