VMD Corp is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aviation Security Specialist to join our team at the Glacier Park International Airport. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Passenger and Baggage Screening: Conduct thorough and efficient screening of passengers and their belongings to identify and prevent potential security threats.
  • Operating Screening Equipment: Operate various screening equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, to detect and prevent prohibited items from entering the airport.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship or Nationality: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Language Skills: Must be proficient in English, with excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Must possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with passengers and colleagues.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Medical Evaluation: Must pass a medical evaluation, including a vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam.
  • Drug Test: Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Availability: Must be available to work any day, Monday through Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM.

  • Training and Development: Receive on-the-job training and the opportunity to become a certified Transportation Security Officer.
