About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Walmart Global Tech. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and systems that protect Walmart's information and technology assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain payment Crypto software applications and systems that protect Walmart's information and technology assets.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate security measures into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, and GDPR.
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and other security assessments to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for software development and system administration.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior software engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve Walmart's information security posture.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on information security.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with security protocols, such as SSL/TLS, and encryption technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, and GDPR.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
