Job Overview

Starcom Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a key member of our squad, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality web applications using full-stack development skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in requirements gathering with product owners, business users, and subject matter experts to design elegant solutions.
  • Create high-quality output and artifacts aligned to our working agreements and Definition of Done.
  • Contribute to development and ensure code reviews are done diligently to maintain high standards of quality deliverables.
  • Actively seek to learn other functional areas within the squad for shared ownership and resiliency.
  • Understand and implement DTCC tools and practices.
  • Collaborate with business collaborators, infrastructure teams, support teams, technical SMEs, and other project collaborators during application development and delivery.
  • Work with product owners for requirements grooming and clarifications.
  • Support end-to-end testing, release management, and deployments.
  • Support production issues and be on call on a need basis.
  • Demonstrate work done to risk business users, implement feedback, and provide suggestions as needed.
  • Coordinate with offshore peers on requirements clarification, delegate work, and help with code-related issues.
  • Provide MIM support as needed for production issues.
Talents Needed for Success
  • Exposure to full-stack development (front-end/back-end: HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Jquery/Angular/Java/Springboot are mandatory), cloud/container-based hosting platforms are highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in writing test cases in both client and server-side.
  • Experience in Agile, CI/CD, DevOps practices and tools.
  • Self-motivated individual with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Deep technical capability and/or experience with ability and drive to understand and adapt to new technologies/platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within and across squads within DTCC.
  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience in building web applications as a full-stack developer and an expertise in designing new applications from scratch.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Bitbucket, Git, Jira, and managing multiple versions of release and CICD pipelines.
  • Database knowledge on Oracle/Snowflake.
