This role offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. With 3 years of Radiological Imaging experience preferred, successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent patient service.

Job Description

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Arranging patients for radiological examinations and producing high-quality images to aid in medical diagnoses.
  • Setting up and operating various diagnostic equipment, including fluoroscopy machines, to ensure effective exam completion.
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to policies and procedures, as well as utilizing proper radiation safety protocols.

You will also have the opportunity to develop advanced skills in CT procedures, including patient screening, table setup, positioning, and exam selection. Additionally, you may be required to start IVs for CT exams and assist technologists with patient throughput and exam setup.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and completion of a formal radiologic technology training program from an AMA-approved school.
  • Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the A.R.R.T. and registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State.
  • Valid 'hands-on' CPR certification and 3 years of Radiological Imaging experience.
