Job Summary:
As a Mixologist, you will be essential in assisting the Bar Manager to deliver top-notch service to our patrons. Your responsibilities will include crafting and serving beverages, engaging with customers, processing orders, and accurately managing transactions through our point-of-sale system. We are looking for individuals who possess a cheerful demeanor, a dedication to quality, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes.
• Engage with guests, take their orders, and provide personalized recommendations.
• Ensure precise entry of orders into the point-of-sale system.
• Uphold the company’s core values while striving to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and sanitation standards in accordance with company and state regulations.
• Exhibit a sense of ownership with a focus on teamwork and motivation.
• Keep the bar area organized and clean, including washing glassware and tidying the workspace.
• Restock supplies during quieter periods, including beverages and garnishes.
• Accurately portion drinks to manage costs effectively.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring all orders are properly recorded.
• Collaborate with management to drive growth, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Implement strategies to boost sales and enhance profitability.
• Understand the menu thoroughly and effectively promote items to guests.
• Ensure safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and addressing any safety concerns.
• Prevent over-serving of alcohol and verify the age of patrons to avoid serving minors.
• Address guest complaints with professionalism and maintain composure under pressure.
• Obtain TIPS Certification.

Qualifications:

• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to successfully perform essential duties.
• Previous bar experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of the bar.
• Ability to follow drink recipes and maintain accurate pour sizes.
• Capacity to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns.
• TIPS Certification is required.
• Basic computer skills for operating the point-of-sale system.
• Strong language skills for understanding business documents and regulations.
• Mathematical skills for calculating discounts, tips, and other figures.
• Problem-solving skills to interpret various instructions.

Additional Requirements:

• Position involves regular physical activity, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is necessary.
• Employment may be contingent upon a background check.
