Position Overview:
The Service Technician will be responsible for executing equipment repairs, accurately documenting completed work, maintaining a tidy workspace, and continuously improving technical expertise on the machinery serviced.
Core Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair machinery following technical specifications.
  2. Record equipment details and repair activities on service orders.
  3. Keep the work area organized and maintain tools and equipment.
  4. Enhance technical knowledge of all equipment serviced.
  5. Safely operate all dealership machinery.
  6. Support fellow technicians as needed.
  7. Foster positive relationships with colleagues, management, and suppliers.
  8. Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  9. Engage in company communication initiatives and training sessions.
  10. Ensure consistent and punctual attendance.
Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Preferred experience of three or more years as a service technician
  • Specialized tools relevant to the trade
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Organizational proficiency
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools and computer systems
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Work Environment:
Work will be conducted in a service shop setting, with exposure to various weather conditions and mechanical components.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves standing, bending, lifting, carrying, walking, and fine motor skills.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel is anticipated.
