Heartwood House Detox is actively seeking a committed Paramedic to fulfill weekday evening shifts. Our facility is a fully licensed residential detox center that focuses on delivering exceptional care to individuals on their transformative journey to overcome substance use disorders.

Role Overview:

  • Conduct initial assessments and patient discharges
  • Collect samples for laboratory analysis
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and their reactions to treatments
  • Maintain comprehensive patient documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Deliver care under the guidance of healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Paramedic Certification and state licensure
  • Proven experience in relevant responsibilities
  • Competence in Basic Life Support techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Reliable attendance history and clearance for tuberculosis testing

Compensation and Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a Paramedic capacity (Preferred)
  • Prior involvement in substance use treatment settings (Preferred)

Certification Requirements:

  • Paramedic Certification (Mandatory)
