Our Psychiatry team is comprised of experienced professionals, including physicians and advanced practice nurses, specializing in Adult and Child-Adolescent Psychiatry. Patients will benefit from access to a wide range of individual and group therapeutic services as well as integrated specialty care.

Your Practice:

  1. Flexible Work Arrangements: Tailor your work-life balance with options for hybrid remote work or a 4-day work week, inclusive of administrative time
  2. Innovative Treatment Approaches: Engage in a Collaborative Care model within primary care settings, offering individual therapy and group sessions that include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Anxiety Management, Bipolar Disorder treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Geropsychology, and trauma-informed therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy and EMDR.
  3. Comprehensive Administrative Support with a dedicated Practice Manager, Case Managers, and a team of therapists.
  4. Medical-Legal Consultation services to safeguard your practice and professional license.

Your Role:

  1. Balance: Focus on outpatient care, with a flexible schedule, no weekend obligations, 60-minute initial assessments, and 30–45-minute follow-up sessions, utilizing Epic EMR in a multidisciplinary environment with primary care and specialty collaboration.
  2. Flexible scheduling options, including remote work.
  3. Manage psychiatric medications and provide directed therapy.
  4. Quarterly on-call responsibilities with no travel required; evening and weekend phone consultations only, one week per quarter with support for behavioral health crisis triage.

Your Compensation:

  1. Competitive base salary of $300,000, plus bonuses up to $60,000 and performance incentives of up to $58,000.
  2. Generous vacation time of 4 weeks or more, CME opportunities with a stipend, malpractice coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package.
  3. Encouragement of a healthy work-life balance.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Board Eligible/Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry.
  2. Unrestricted Maryland State Medical License required prior to employment.
  3. Current Maryland DEA certificate required prior to employment.

Compensation Details: The salary range for Maryland residents is $300,000 to $400,000, defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay structure may vary based on experience and performance metrics. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to salary, MedChi offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, and retirement contributions (subject to eligibility requirements).
