Job Overview

JF Petroleum Group is a leading turnkey solution provider to the North American fueling infrastructure industry. We distribute, install and service fueling equipment for retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets and emergency power customers.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Helper to perform various tasks on construction sites. This role involves assisting craft workers or electricians with physical labor tasks such as carrying tools and materials, setting up equipment, and performing a wide range of tasks varying in complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Heavy Equipment Operators: Direct heavy equipment operators, track hoe and loaders from the ground during excavation operations.
  • Operate Small Equipment: Operate small equipment such as skid steer loaders.
  • Tank Installation: Cut and thread steel pipe and assist in fitting and installation of underground and above-ground tanks.
  • Maintain Safe Worksite: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site per the foreman's direction.
  • Comply with Safety Requirements: Comply with all safety requirements, including usage of proper personal protective equipment for the task being performed.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs independently and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Basic understanding of taking measurements, math, and mechanical skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
