Endoscopy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Ascension Providence. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, managing equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/testing sites as needed.
• Interpret and report test results, recognizing and addressing any recording errors or artifacts.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
