Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform vital signs, and provide wound care to patients on our 3 East, Transitional Rehabilitation Unit, and 3 West units.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with our nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in Unit-Based Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement projects and participate in unit-based committees to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Float to Other Units as Needed: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by floating to other units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and meet the needs of our patients.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved LPN program.
  • Licensure: Valid State of Maine LPN license.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of previous LPN experience preferred, but new LPNs with relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Medical Terminology: Familiarity with medical terminology and concepts.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
