Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

St. Joseph's Home Health, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to provide personal care and support to our elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating. You will also assist clients with ambulation, help with mobility around the house or outside, and perform housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
  • Help with physical therapy exercises and plan and prepare meals
  • Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
  • Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living, including serving and other tasks
Qualifications:
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related duties
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Supportive and compassionate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
  • Take pride in providing high-quality care
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
