Position Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Armed Security Specialist for the afternoon shift. This role requires no patrolling duties but demands physical fitness, as candidates must be able to remain on their feet for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending and stooping.
Compensation: The position offers a competitive hourly wage of up to $21.50, contingent upon possessing a valid Firearm Control Card (FCC) issued by the state. Candidates must have prior military experience with an honorable discharge.
Schedule: This position is Monday through Friday during the afternoon hours.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and training in "shoot, don't shoot" scenarios or relevant real-world experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor are essential.
- Must requalify for the TAN card upon hire.
Requirements:
- All armed applicants must possess the necessary credentials to begin work, including PERC, 40-hour training certification, FOID card, and personal equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and uphold general post instructions for assigned shifts, becoming an expert in all operational aspects.

- Foster positive relationships between clients and Guardian Security Services.

- Monitor and escalate issues to appropriate authorities and management.
- Respond to incidents and document events with precision.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a professional image at all times.
Employment Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Prior military experience with an honorable discharge is required.
- A stable work history is essential.
Certifications:
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC).
- Completion of a 40-hour training course is mandatory.
- All applicants must undergo a pre-employment screening process, including a background investigation.
- Must have or be able to obtain a 40-hour firearms training certificate, FOID card, and personal weapon upon hire.
