Clinical Nursing Leadership Position

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Saint Mary's Hospital, operating since 1909. This Catholic, not-for-profit community teaching hospital is dedicated to serving patients in Waterbury, CT, and the surrounding communities.
Role OverviewThe successful candidate will collaborate with Clinical Managers to ensure continuity of patient care by providing adequate resources on a shift-to-shift basis. They will also provide clinical support as the registered nurse responder for the Rapid Response Team.
Responsibilities- Act as the patient throughput decision maker responsible for upholding decision-making processes related to management of appropriate bed assignments.
- Lead off-shift teams, rounding on units, answering colleague and patient questions, and upholding all policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree is preferred.
- Registered Nurse RN Licensure: must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.
- 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience, including intermediate/progressive/critical care or nursing leadership.
- BLS or CPR certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
This part-time position offers:
- 24 hours per week, three 8-hour night shifts, every other weekend rotation.
$73,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
