Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the admission, discharge, or transfer of residents, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Take and record vital signs, including weights, as assigned by the nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, oral care, foot and nail care, skin care, dressing, range of motion, toileting, transfers, and appointments.
- Pass meal trays and assist residents with meals, feeding if required, and providing ice water as assigned.
- Escort residents to meals, activities, and appointments as necessary, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Respond to call bells in a timely manner and conduct safety rounds, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
- Maintain resident rooms and service areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Distribute and change linens as needed, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment.
- Communicate changes in resident condition to licensed staff, facilitating timely interventions and care planning.
- Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record and other related documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- State C.N.A. certification in good standing is mandatory.
- At least 6 months of previous experience in a CNA role is desired but not required.
