Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the Sterile Processing department.
  • Ensure proper decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to Sterile Processing Technicians.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and departmental procedures.
  • Stay current with advancements in sterile processing and patient care practices.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or concerns within the unit.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sterile Processing required.
  • Supervisory experience in a sterile processing setting required.
  • National certification in Sterile Processing is highly preferred.

Profile Requirements:

  • Work history that reflects relevant experience.
  • Skills checklist, current within the last year, relevant to the specialty.
  • Two supervisory references with employment dates listed.
