Certification Details
PALS, ACLS, EMT, and EMT-B certifications are preferred.

7 week contract position in the Emergency Department.

Shift Information
Days/Evenings (7a-7p and 11a-11p) shifts are available.

Unit Specific Information
Patient Care Tech experience in the Emergency Department is required.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience is required. First-timers are accepted. Will work up to every other weekend as needed. Is on-call required? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will be floated to our med/surg or SCU unit as an attendant as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted? No, must live >100 miles from facility. Pending License accepted? Yes. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.

Special Requirements
Acute Care, Urgent Care, Trauma Level 3, and Teaching experience are required. Urgent Care, Trauma Level 1, Trauma Level 2, and Children's Hospital experience are preferred. General Skills Experience Required: Vital signs, 12 lead EKG, AED/Defibrillator, Splinting, Wound Care, Crutch Training. Job Requirements: High School or GED required. Associate's or Vocational degree one to two years post-secondary education in a health related field preferred. Patient Care Tech—a minimum of 1 year of ED experience.
