The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients in the Emergency Department. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the Nursing Process and adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the Emergency Room.
- Critical Thinking: Demonstrates advanced critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Leadership: Provides direction and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring appropriate delegation of tasks based on staff qualifications.
- Continuous Education: Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Valid Arkansas Nursing License
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Trauma or Emergency Care preferred
Shift: Nights (6 PM - 6 AM)
Please note that candidates must meet all necessary qualifications to be considered for this position.
