">We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design / Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of next-generation haptic actuators and experiences. As a member of our Haptic Engineering team, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the mechanical design and integration of a haptic actuator from concept to production.

- Brainstorm concepts and solutions to haptic related challenges.
- Prototype, evaluate, and debug innovative ideas.
- Design and define mechanical components and assembly schemes.
- Generate detailed specifications and drawings.
- Analyze static and dynamic structures to quantify fundamental device performance.
- Participate in the development of new manufacturing and assembly processes with external vendors (including periodic international travel).
- Validate and characterize designs through multiple iterations.
- Conduct failure analysis and design of experiments (DOEs) to resolve root cause and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with 3D CAD, 2D drafting, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics.
- Skill at problem-solving, using tools like the scientific method, root cause analysis, and DOE creation (Design of Experiments).
- Applied knowledge of electrical circuits, material science, and basic chemistry.
- Team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project experience in consumer electronics product design.
