Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Interim HealthCare Duluth. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily needs, such as toileting, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Monitor patient vitals, intake/output, and document any changes.
  • Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a medical facility.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
