At MultiCare Health System, we're seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients and families, working collaboratively with our nursing team to ensure the best possible health care outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate care to patients, utilizing your nursing education and knowledge of growth, development, and aging.
  • Deliver daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
  • Assist the care team in implementing the nursing process, utilizing your strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school or equivalent qualifying experience.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • License to pass medications may be required.
  • Previous experience as an LPN, in an acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred.
  • Current experience in the assigned specialty, or successful completion of a specialty focused residency post hire.
  • Successful completion of appropriate competencies for assigned specialty.
