Financial Analyst Role Overview

At Molson Coors, we're seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Accounting and Reporting team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting financial accounting and reporting activities, leading processes that monitor and assess the impact of accounting pronouncements on significant transactions and our North America business.

Key Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Prepare, consolidate, and analyze financial statements and required disclosures
⁠ ⁠Provide financial reporting information to the SEC Reporting team
⁠ ⁠Apply financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to drive business results

Accounting and Internal Controls:

⁠ ⁠Apply accounting principles and internal controls to provide objective, timely, and accurate financial information
⁠ ⁠Monitor the Company's overall accounting practices and ensure conformance to US GAAP accounting standards and Molson Coors global accounting policies
⁠ ⁠Prepare journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure proper consolidated financial reporting

Process and Systems:

⁠ ⁠Coordinate updates to the financial reporting systems and ensure system reports are modified to properly reflect and capture all general ledger changes
⁠ ⁠Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology to identify, configure, and communicate useful information

Requirements:

⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (2+ years) in the field of accounting
⁠ ⁠Prior public accounting experience is a plus
⁠ ⁠Strong analytical ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems
⁠ ⁠Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) and internal control
⁠ ⁠Knowledge of SAP is a plus
